Welcome to a world of radical love and transformation!

I'm Dr. Bibi, a bicultural educational therapist and mental health advocate. With a rich background in neuroscience and developmental psychology, I've cultivated over a decade of experience as a learning specialist and educational therapist, working one-on-one to remediate learning disabilities.

My journey took an unexpected turn during my doctoral work, leading to a profound self-interrogation of my schooling and training. Guided by a critical pedagogy lens, I revisited the roots of my early education, allowing me to ask essential questions often educated out of us.

Passionate about social justice, I launched The Difference is Not Deficit Project in 2020, aiming to reshape perceptions of learning disabilities. As an adjunct faculty member at Pepperdine University and USC, I contribute to shaping the next generation of professionals.

I am most known for breaking educational barriers, advocating for mental health equity, and guiding transformative self-healing journeys. Through my lens of the A Socially Just Mental Health Practice Framework: The 4C Model, I empower individuals to navigate cultural complexities and foster resilience.

Join me on this journey of transformation, where cultural responsiveness meets radical self-healing, so that together, we can become the change-makers our communities need.
